• Where is the store based?

  Danvers, MA

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  PLEASE REALLY CAREFULLY.
  We do except orders out of the US. Most of our products can be sent easily. However it is illegal to ship nail polish out of the US. Because of this I will need a safe shipping provider/receiver. If you have a personal goods receiver, please email me and we can work together to get you your order. I am in the process of finding a permanent receiver and sender to work with exclusively. We are still a small business, so these things take time. Any shipping over charges will be refunded once products are shipped. We look forward to working with any customers outside of the US, and if you have any questions, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Here at Pink Hibiscus Beauty, we know how hard it is to wait!! So we vow to do our best to get your order ready for shipping within 1 to 3 business days. All orders will receive tracking via email, unless otherwise notified. Pre-order does not fall under this category, and will be shipped according to individual instructions. Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

• Why are certain items so expensive to ship?

  As you may have noticed, some of our products are packaged in glass jars, metal jars, etc. Some of these items weight more than say, an order of mani bombs. The USPS, which is who we ship through, does not allow standard delivery for items weighing more than 13 ounces. Because of this, we are required to pay for priority shipping for all orders weighing more than 13 ounces. (We are currently trying to find a less expensive means for shipping for our heavier products, but at the moment, the USPS is the most convenient due to hours, pick up availability, etc.) The good news is, the more you buy, the quicker you will receive your order!! ;)

• Are your products REALLY handmade? And WHY?

  Yes!! All products are made by hand by Jes Welch (owner or Pink Hibiscus Beauty) She is the only one with the recipes, and also tries all products on herself first. (And any one else around, haha) No animal testing here, EVER. We use as many organic and all natural products as possible. It's very important to us that our products do more than just smell nice (not that it's not an added bonus!) . We want our products to nourish your skin and nails. We want you to notice a difference and love our products. Pink Hibiscus Beauty has ZERO interest in having our products manufactured at this time. It's just not how we do things here. We want to be able to put that loving care into each product we make. We want each ingredient to have its own benefits, not just be a filler. This is also why some of our products can last so long, you only need a small amount of our scrubs to reveal beautifully moisturized skin.

• What is "VIP shipping"

  We created VIP shipping to help our products reach our local customers faster and without the normal shipping costs. We wish we could go everywhere and hand deliver everything we make, but that is just not realistic.... well, at least not until I get my flying unicorn/Pegasus. Items must be bought through the site, we do not sell in person, and all sales must be paid for prior to delivery. Anyone seeking VIP shipping MUST contact Jes Welch, owner of Pink Hibiscus Beauty, FIRST. We have to be able to confirm where the order is going, and if in person delivery is even an option. This means, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, if you place an order, and choose VIP shipping PRIOR to discussing this with Jes Welch, you will be sent an invoice with charges for shipping. If that invoice is NOT paid within 7 business days, your order will be cancelled and refunded. We try our best to keep all our products stocked, but there are limited quantities of certain items. If an order is being held, and shipping is not paid, those items need to be restocked on the site for other customers to purchase. Please feel free to email with any questions.

• Where is Pink Hibiscus Beauty located, and is there a store?

  We are located North or Boston. We do not have a store.... YET! We are currently looking for space in some of our local stores and boutiques. We promise to let you know as soon as that happens!

• What if I have an allergy to one or more of your products or ingredients?

  The owner of Pink Hibiscus Beauty is servsafe certified, and also trained in allergen prevention. Because all our products are made by hand, in the same place, there is always a chance of an interaction. But don't run away yet!! If you would like, please email us and let us know what you are allergic to. Because of her training, our owner is able to properly sanitize and ensure that specially made products are safe for use for those with allergies. You MUST email us and let us know ahead of time. We can NOT guarantee an allergen free product if we do not know prior to production. Feel free to email us with any questions.

• What is a "Mani bomb" or "Bath bomb"?

  Mani and bath bombs are for the most part, the same, just different in size. Many bath bombs have the same base ingredients as a mani bomb, and vice versus. The bombs are used by dropping one or more into either a bowl/container or warm water, or warm water filled bath tub. The bombs will fizz away releasing essential oils, healing oils, and in some cases body butter into your water. When you then soak your hands, or body, the warm water helps the oils absorb into your skin, giving it extra moisture. For your hands, it's almost like having a warm lotion massage or the beginning stages of a manicure. They are great for relaxing or for a girls (or guys) sleepover party. People love these as gifts too! It gives them an excuse to actually relax!!
  At Pink Hibiscus Beauty we strive to make all our bombs do more than just smell good. We have bombs that contain tea tree oil, a natural antiseptic. Others are packed, and we mean PACKED with our handmade body butter. Amazing for treating dry, cracked, winter skin. So grab a bomb and soak you stresses away!!

• Do you refund shipping overages?

  Yes! Any shipping overages $2 and over will be refunded.

• What is Storenvy?

• How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

  The Storenvy checkout process is powered by both Stripe and PayPal, two of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, Storenvy has all the same securities and payment fraud protection as these leading payment processors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order.
